Who is Entitled to Parenting Time?
A parent who has not been given the primary custody of a child qualifies for a reasonable parenting time or visitation with that child. Parenting time will not be granted only in situations in which a judge feels that visitation of the noncustodial parent may hamper the child's physical or mental health or when it is not in the best interests of the child.
